Today’s prompt was from napowrimo.net: Write a “lune,” which is similar to a haiku in that it has three lines with 3-5-3 words (rather than 5-7-5 syllables). Check out this really interesting article by Jack Collom about teaching poetry (including lunes) in the schools.
After so much haiku in the past couple years, I found myself having trouble counting in words rather than syllables… 🙂
