We had a visitor this weekend who scared the girls while they were playing in the yard…but all is well.

They were free-ranging while Chris was working outside. He was in and out of the garage and all of a sudden the “chicken alarm” went off. The hawk was sitting on the roof wondering which chicken she should have for dinner. She was not at all impressed by the human yelling and madly waving at her. She finally flew off and Chris had to coax the girls out from under the bush to get them back to the coop.
