Pansies after frost,
waiting to perk up again.
I can see my breath.

It is that time of the year when the scenes are changing and colors too will fade!! Nicely done!! Loved it!!

Thank you! The vinca are winding down, so it’s almost time for planting pansies here in North Carolina. Having grown up in the Midwest, it’s amazing to me that we get flowers all winter. 🙂

Thanks! I’m always amazed when the poor little pansies get frozen, then come right back when it warms up.

You know, it is so funny to me too because I’m not from the South originally, but pansies make it all the way through the winter here in Raleigh. They get a little stunted during the coldest part of the season, but give them a little sun and they’re right back! Amazing!
